The Achromia mutation causes an absence of normal pigmentation in the red blood cells and skin. Although this mutation is not naturally hereditary, it still appears to be one of the most commonly occurring muties in Lioden. Achromatic lions are easily identifiable due to their white fur with a pinkish coloration in the skin, ears, eyes, nose and paw-pads, resulting in them being a very unusually specimen for anyone to have in their collection.
